ICA - International Consulting Alliance

ICA Network
ICA World draws its strength from a constantly growing network of Local and Technical Members – partner organisations from various background and independent experts eager to participate in a community of peers.
In a world of mergers & acquisitions, it is increasingly hard to remain alone. ICA World enables local ownership, consortium building and technical cooperation through long-term partnerships, personal connection and good practices.
Our structure has been designed by and for our Members: membership criteria ensure them a privileged position in the Alliance, highlighting their best assets to ease partner identification; direct participation in the network decision-making process provides the members with a voice in ICA World developments.

Networking for Development
As stated in our moto, the ICA team identifies and negotiates membership with new top development partners to complete the sector Hubs, increase our coverage in terms of donors and countries and encourage further cooperation.
Membership-based participation
Our network is open to organisations (from consulting companies, NGOs to public bodies) and independent consultants on a tailor-made yearly subscription fee, taking into account financial and operational capacities.
Complementarity to increase cooperation
To guarantee each partner’s complementarity and the privileged position, new accessions are carefully considered and brought to the attention of the Alliance’s existing members (veto right). Eligibility criteria based on location, technical specialisation and donor-experience encourage cooperation over competition.
Business Development Support
ICA World encourages networking and plays the role of privileged circle for business development. The ICA Team supports the identification of relevant partners and experts but does not participate directly in biding and tendering processes.
The ICA World Hubs
Our network grows on a sector approach – each new member integrates and completes a dedicated Hub following our principle of complementarity
Community of peers
The ICA Hubs bring together Technical and Local Organisations and their Top Experts working in the same sector to exchange with trusted peers and easily engage in more direct cooperation.
Inclusive Hub Completion
To increase cooperation and ensure ICA Members meet the partners they need for their projects, the ICA World Team closely includes existing Members in the process of identifying missing complementary organisations and experts in each hub.
Deepen Participation
The Hubs strengthen the relationship among organisation and experts by providing a direct access to specific expertise, facilitating the exchanges and project-focused discussions and creating personal links.
Direct Participation of Members in the ICA World Board
The Board consists of representatives of Technical and Local Member-Organisations and Top Experts with a maximum mandate of 2 years. Board Members meet quarterly to steer the Alliance and decides about future developments.
ICA World Members can recommend and invite their trusted partners and consultants to join our alliance
